- Automatic irrigation systems will be permitted ONCE PER WEEK.
- Odd-numbered addresses may water on Saturdays, beginning April 19, 2008.
- Even-numbered addresses may water on Sundays, beginning April 20, 2008.
- The City of Rock Hill has assigned irrigation schedules to City Parks, Recreation & Tourism facilities, Winthrop University and Rock Hill School District 3. Each entity has one day per week assigned for watering, as do Rock Hill residents. The day assigned varies for each.
- Outdoor water uses such as vehicle washing, pressure washing and filling or topping off of swimming pools will be permitted ONCE PER WEEK.
- Odd-numbered addresses may use water as listed above on Saturdays, beginning May 3, 2008.
- Even-numbered addresses may use water as listed above on Sundays, beginning May 4, 2008.
- Customers may hand water at any time of day, however it is recommended for early morning or late evening to avoid evaporation.
- Runoff remains strictly prohibited.
- Customers are strongly encouraged to turn off decorative fountains, reflection pools and water bodies, except for those water structures that support aquatic life.
- Washing vehicles or outdoor structures, pavement, parking lots or other services is now permitted once per week on the designated day based on your address.
- Customers are encouraged to be mindful of landscaping, taking care to plant drought resistant plants and to use the most efficient irrigation methods.
