The North Carolina beach house fire that claimed the life of 7 South Carolina college students is an absolute tragedy. It’s an extremely unfortunate occurrence and all my thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the victims.
A tragedy like this should be a wake up call for the rest of us that life is fragile. At the same time, it should be a stark reminder of the importance taking all precautions possible to ensure our homes are safe.
Whether it’s your primary residence, a vacation home, or even a property you’re visiting for a night or two, be sure to verify that all the safety features are in place and functioning.
